Step 1: slip the straps through the buckle ensuring the straps are not twisted.
Step 2: fasten the hook and loop at the end of the shoulder straps.
Step 3: put the posture corrector on like a rucksack, the buckles should be at the bottom.
Step 4: unfasten the straps under the arms, make sure not to let go as it might be difficult to get hold of them again.
Step 5: pull the straps tight to achieve the required tightness/tension.
Step 6: fasten the hook and loop together firmly. If further adjustments are required follow previous steps.

Slip the cushion onto the back of the chair (lengthening the strap, if necessary), securing it round the back by tightening the strap. Sit on the chair and put the cushion at the height where you need the support. Then sit back, pressing against the rounded side of the cushion. Obviously, the back of the chair must provide a surface against which the cushion presses; otherwise (i.e., if the chair is open at the back at the height where you need support) the cushion will be ineffective.
